Reconciliation Activities and Workshops
I draw upon my Pacific culture and research on the interface between Indigenous approaches to Western systems and processes. I coach others through my own transition to understand Indigenous First Nations people through my Samoan culture. This approach was key to creating the Indigenous Word Cards which were developed to bridge the gap of understanding reconciliation and engaging with Indigeneity on a personal level.
Indigenography and Design has 3 tiers of engagement and can be delivered :

INDIGENOUS WORD CARDS WORKSHOP
This workshop was created by Dr Marion Muliaumasealii and Co-designed with N’arweet Dr Carol Briggs. It designed to build knowledge of the Woi wurrung (Wurundjeri people) and Boon wurrung (Boon wurrung people) languages of the eastern Kulin Nations. This artefact was created as an engagement tool for non-Indigenous people to engage with Indigeneity in a tangible and accessible way. The hope is that all participants will see this engagement as a small but important step towards a relationship with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people grounded in Sovereignty.
INDIGENOUS STORYTELLING
WORKSHOP
A workshop that draws from Indigenous knowledges from Oceania that have been used for centuries to pass on values, customs and traditions. This workshop infuses frameworks familiar in a Western context to bridge the gap between traditional and ancient ways of storytelling in the 21st Century.
